Hi!

My name is Isa Angeles (they/she), and I am a graduate student at UCLA! Kumikislap Co. is a Pinay-owned small business that I started in 2020 because I wanted to make art and share it with others. Earrings have always been my favorite type of jewelry so I thought, why not start making some as a hobby? This idea then turned into Kumikislap Co. I chose the name "kumikislap" because the word itself means "to sparkle/sparkling" or "to glisten/glistening." When creating jewelry, my goal is to make whoever wears these earrings feel beautiful and sparkle even more than they already do. Every pair of earrings is handcrafted with lots of love and hard work. 

Recently, I've been dabbling in other forms of art as well! Drawing has always been one of my passions, but discouragement over the years pushed me away from continuing. Now, I've been back in the groove of visual artistry and am pleased to be selling that art here on Kumikislap as well! That includes fanart and original art: as stickers (one of my favorite mediums), buttons, prints, and perhaps charms/keychains in the future too!
